Timber Ridge Community, 

As I step into my 19th year in education and my fourth year as principal of Timber Ridge Elementary, I am filled with gratitude for the opportunity to lead such an incredible school community. Timber Ridge is a special place because of our amazing students, dedicated staff, supportive families, and the relationships we build together each day.

This year is especially meaningful as we celebrate 20 years of Timber Ridge Elementary. For two decades, our school has been a place where students have learned, grown, and created lifelong memories. As we honor this milestone, we are excited to continue building on the strong foundation that has made Timber Ridge such a special place.

Our theme for the 2026–2027 school year is Five Houses. One Home. This theme reflects who we are as a school community. While each of us belongs to one of our five houses, together we are one Timber Ridge family. We believe every child deserves to feel seen, valued, and connected, and we know that when we work together, we create the best possible experience for our students.

I am honored to lead alongside Dr. Walden and Mrs. Wesley as we continue our commitment to providing high-quality instruction, building meaningful relationships, and creating opportunities for every child to succeed. Thank you for trusting us with your children and for partnering with us in their education. I look forward to celebrating our 20th year with you and making this a year filled with learning, laughter, growth, and unforgettable memories.

I am so excited to be serving as your Assistant Principal again this year. It is truly a privilege to partner with our students, families, and staff as we continue making Timber Ridge a place where every child is known, challenged, and celebrated.

This year marks my 18th year in education, and I am grateful every day for the opportunity to support student success and help create meaningful learning experiences. I believe that strong relationships, high expectations, and a little fun each day are the keys to helping students thrive both academically and personally.

At Timber Ridge, we are more than a school, we are a family. I am committed to creating a positive, welcoming environment where students are excited to learn, teachers feel supported, and families know they are valued partners in their child's education. When I'm not cheering on our students, you'll probably find me celebrating House pride because Green House is obviously the BEST House! 💚

I can't wait to see all the amazing things our Titans accomplish this year. Here's to a year filled with learning, laughter, and unforgettable memories. Let's make it our best year yet!

Greetings Titan Family,

It is with tremendous enthusiasm and excitement that I write this letter of introduction as a new Assistant Principal here at Timber Ridge Elementary School. I am so elated to work alongside Ms. Williams, Ms. Wesley, and all the faculty at TRE. With 28 years of experience in education, I firmly believe that it takes a collaborative effort from administrators, faculty, and parents to ensure that scholars’ needs are met socially, emotionally, and academically.

 I have been in Henry County since 2006, serving as a teacher, Math Instructional Lead Teacher, and Assistant Principal. I began my educational career in 1996 in Thomasville, Georgia, which is also my hometown. My journey in education has afforded me the opportunity to serve both in the United States and internationally.  

My educational journey also serves as proof of my love for learning. I have obtained degrees in Elementary Education, Administrative Leadership, and Curriculum & Instruction. It is my love of learning that drives my passion to ensure that all scholars are provided with quality instruction while developing their own personal drive to be the best they can be.

In my spare time, I enjoy reading, spending time with my family, attending major sporting events, and traveling. I also enjoy learning new educational strategies and ways to support faculty, scholars, and parents.

Again, I am extremely excited to serve the scholars, parents, and staff of Timber Ridge Elementary. I look forward to meeting each of you and building positive relationships that will contribute to the greatness at TRE. I am fully committed to preparing our scholars for the global society that surrounds them each day!
